NEMT Driver (Frisco) - Wheelchair & Stretcher Alternative Transport | No CDL Required
$15 - $17/hour | Full Time | Home every night | Frisco, TX

Ride N' Safe is hiring a driver based in Frisco to get patients safely to dialysis, treatment, appointments, and home again across Collin County and the north Dallas-Fort Worth area. You'll start and end each shift at Baylor Scott & White in Frisco, where your company van is parked. You won't need to commute to our main base. No CDL and no healthcare experience required, because we train you. If you've driven for NEMT providers and want a steady schedule, a company van, and work that actually matters to the person in your back seat, this is that job.

How you'll get started
Orientation in Cleburne. Your first day or days are at our Cleburne home base, where you'll do paperwork, safety training, and equipment checkout.
2 weeks of ride-along training. You'll ride with one of our experienced drivers to learn routes, facilities, and patient handling. We'll arrange a pickup point in the north DFW area so you aren't driving to Cleburne every day.
After training, you'll work out of Frisco and start each shift from the van at Baylor Frisco.

What you get
$15 - $17/hour
Health/Dental/Vision available on your start date
14 days of PTO available after 90 days
Company van, fuel card, and all equipment - you never use your own vehicle
What you'll do
Transport patients by wheelchair, reclining stretcher-chair, or ambulatory assist
Help patients safely in and out of the vehicle, door-to-door, hand-to-hand, bed-to-bed
Keep your van clean, stocked, and inspected - report anything mechanical
Represent Ride N' Safe well with patients, families, and facilities staff

What you need
Valid Class C Driver's License, 3 or more years of licensed driving
23 or older
Driving record with no DWI or reckless in the last 5 years and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
Able to safely maneuver an occupied wheelchair or stretcher-chair (up to 450 lbs) using lifts, ramps, and proper technique.
Comfortable being on your feet, bending, and working in Texas weather
Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and MVR - we schedule and pay for the physical and screenings
Live in or near Frisco, with reliable transportation to reach Baylor Frisco at the start of each shift
You'll be around people who are sick, and occasionally around bodily fluids. We provide PPE and train you on how to handle it. Most of our drivers say the patient relationships are the reason they stay.
